AQUAMAN 3 – Final Teaser Trailer ( 2025 )

Aquaman 3, set for release in 2025, is generating significant buzz following the successful Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023). Directed by James Wan, the movie continues the underwater saga of Jason Momoa’s Aquaman. Although Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom concludes the current DCEU era, both Wan and Momoa have hinted at the possibility of expanding the story into a trilogy. Wan expressed interest in creating a standalone Seven Kingdoms cinematic universe.

The budget for Aquaman 3 has not been officially disclosed, but it is expected to be on par with its predecessors, which were large-scale productions with budgets nearing $200 million. Given the ambitious visual effects and underwater sequences, the third installment will likely maintain a similar level of investment.

As for its potential success, the Aquaman franchise has already proven its box office prowess. The first Aquaman (2018) grossed over $1 billion, making it the highest-grossing DCEU film to date. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom continues to ride that wave of success, despite the ongoing transformations within the DC Universe under the leadership of James Gunn and Peter Safran. This momentum suggests that Aquaman 3 could perform equally well if it manages to build on the established fan base and epic world-building.
