The Chronicles of Narnia (2026)

“The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” follows the magical journey of the four Pevensie children – Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy – who are evacuated from London during World War II to the countryside home of Professor Kirke. Their adventure begins when the youngest sibling, Lucy, discovers a mysterious wardrobe during a game of hide-and-seek. Stepping inside, she finds herself transported to the magical land of Narnia, a realm where animals talk and mythical creatures exist.

Initially, Lucy’s siblings don’t believe her tales about Narnia, but eventually, all four children enter this enchanted world. They discover Narnia is trapped in an eternal winter caused by the tyrannical White Witch, Jadis, who has ruled the land for 100 years. According to an ancient prophecy, two Sons of Adam and two Daughters of Eve (human children) will help overthrow the White Witch and restore peace to Narnia alongside the true king, the great lion Aslan.

The story takes a dark turn when Edmund, tempted by the White Witch’s magical Turkish Delight and promises of power, betrays his siblings and aligns himself with her. This betrayal sets in motion a series of events that lead to Aslan sacrificing himself on the Stone Table to save Edmund, following the Deep Magic that governs Narnia. However, through an even deeper magic from before the dawn of time, Aslan resurrects, breaking the Witch’s power.

The climax builds to an epic battle between the forces of good and evil, with the Pevensie children leading Aslan’s army against the White Witch’s dark forces. Peter proves himself as a warrior, Susan and Lucy witness Aslan’s sacrifice and resurrection, and Edmund redeems himself through his bravery and loyalty. After the White Witch’s defeat, the four siblings are crowned kings and queens of Narnia at Cair Paravel.

The story concludes with the Pevensies ruling Narnia during its Golden Age until, years later, they accidentally find their way back through the wardrobe. They return to England, discovering that no time has passed in their own world, though they lived entire lives in Narnia. This beloved tale explores themes of faith, sacrifice, redemption, and the eternal battle between good and evil, while capturing the wonder and magic of childhood imagination.
